Children’s Festival is a significant multicultural events in Australia.

The festival is unique in its celebration of cultural diversity with a spectacular entertainment program performed by almost 30 groups from non-English speaking backgrounds attended by many thousands children and their families.

Under the motto “Play Together and Live in Harmony”, Children’s Festival is a day for everyone, especially children to get together in a multicultural environment where they enjoy fun together, do things together and share their new experience with each other.

This year the Children’s Festival in Bankstown will be held on Saturday 29 October 2016 at Paul Keating Park, (close to Bankstown Railway Station).

We would like to invite your school / group to participate in the Children’s Parade at 2pm and/or to perform on stage on the day. Your participation in the Children’s Festival will give you and the kids a good, memorable experience.  For further details, please refer to “Expression of Interest – Performances and Parade”.

If you are interested in running a stall, please refer to the “Expression of Interest - Stalls”.

Get ready for a day of celebration. You will be amazed with what the festival has to offer: different cultural traditions, costumes, dancing, music, lion dancing, drumming workshops and delicious food which is not to be missed!

Please come and enjoy the fun and games, join in the Children’s Parade, watch music and dancing performances on stage or have a go at drumming, kite flying or take part in the poster competition.

There will be endless exciting activities for the kids including scout adventures, lantern making, costume parades, arts and craft, rides, animal petting zoo and more.

To our sponsors, thank you for your continued support for the Children’s Festival and to the families that come on the day – surely you will enjoy it!
