Canterbury-Bankstown Children's Festival 2017 Zoom

Children’s Festival is a significant multicultural event in Australia.

The festival is unique in its celebration of cultural diversity with a spectacular non-stop entertainment program performed by over 30 groups from different cultural backgrounds and attended by many thousand children and their families.

Under the motto “Play Together and Live in Harmony”, Children’s Festival is a day for everyone, especially children to get together in a multicultural environment where they enjoy fun together, do things together and share their new experience with each other.

This year the Children’s Festival in Bankstown will be held on Sunday 17.09.2017 at Paul Keating Park, next to Bankstown Railway Station from 11.00am to 6.00pm.

We would like to invite your school / group to participate in this event, especially to join in the Children’s Parade at 2.00 pm and/or to perform on stage on the day. Your participation in the Children’s Festival will give you and the kids a good, memorable experience. For further details, please refer to “Expression of Interest – Performances and Parade”.

If you are interested in running a stall, please refer to the “Expression of Interest - Stalls”.

Another important thing not to forget is the poster competition with the theme chosen for this year being "Water is Life". Please refer to the poster competition announcement for further information on how to enter and on prizes.

Get ready for a day of celebration.

Please come and be entertained with what this festival has to offer: great music and dancing on stage, beautiful traditional costume display, a range of lively and exciting outdoor games and activities, Children’s Parade or have a go at some workshop on lion dance, kite making and flying and much more…..

To our sponsors and supporters, thank you for your continued support for the Children’s Festival and to the families that come on the day – surely you will enjoy it!

See you there!
