CBCF 2017 - Co-Chairperson's Address - Mai Ly

As a resident of Bankstown for over 30 years, I am honoured and privileged to co-chair the Canterbury-Bankstown Children’s Festival 2017 at Paul Keating Park.

The Children’s Festival Organisation aims to promote unity and harmony by providing a fun day for children and their families from all backgrounds. Together, we can learn and appreciate our rich and diverse cultures that exists in our community today and into the future.

This year marks the festival’s 19th annual event in Bankstown, and my first festival as co-chair. I would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our supporters, volunteers, sponsors and participating groups. We would not have been able to deliver this fun and lively event without your support and contributions. I would also like to thank everyone for attending the event and hope to see your smiles again!

We would like to thank our sponsors this year for their continual generous support for the Children’s Festival. Without your financial or in-kind donations, the Children’s Festival would not be able to continue and flourish like it has for so many years. We hope that it will continue to flourish for many more years to come, with your tremendous support.
